Gideon
Gideon is a Metalcore band from Tuscaloosa, Alabama. This is a band who know how to grab your attention. 'Milestone' was the band's second album and it renewed a lot of people's faith in Christian hardcore.
Gideon upped the ante with the release of their third album 'Calloused'. It is clear from this album that this was a band that had a lot to offer. I don't know why but mixing bone crushing music with uplifting lyrics makes me smile.
In 2019 the band saw the light and no longer identified themselves as a Christian band. This revelation saw the band shift gears from melodic to thrash with the release of their fifth album 'Out of Control'. 'Take Me' is the lead single and it rocks.
'More Power, More Pain' is their most recent release and it is clear that this band continues to kick it up a notch with every release. This is definitely a band to watch.
